"Clean beyond expectation! We spent 4 nights here and did day trips from Blanding. The space was “ tiny”…but had a king bed that was wonderful. We ate breakfast and a couple dinner salads on the private patio. Julie left several k-cups for the Keurig, and even a couple energy bars! An oasis to enjoy. "This was a great stay, the camper and property were exactly as described. The roads surrounding the property are dirt, and can be pretty rutted in some places. I made it in my 2WD rental, but use caution! Wound up having a bonfire with the owner and other guests on property. Very memorable :)"

"This is the perfect location for a home base. We were an hour from Mesa Verde, Hovenweep, Arches, Canyonlands-Needles District, and Natural Bridges. There was even more within a 90 minute drive. Our problem is we didn't book a longer vacation. The view of the Abajo Mountains from the living room was awesome. There was a hawk nesting in one of the pines in the back yard. "We had a very good time during our Blanding stay as we used the comfortable and welcoming Big Bear house as headquarters for our Cedar Mesa hiking and exploration. The home is remodeled and decorated in a welcoming and non-fussy manner; we felt at home. The kitchen in particular deserves a shout-out; it was complete with quality pans, dishes, and appliances."

"We enjoyed our stay so much! It was much closer to fantastic hikes than we realized and the fenced yard was PERFECT for our dogs! It was also a lot larger than we expected and very well stocked with dishes etc, and they even had little snacks for us. Steve was SUCH a good communicator, it was easy to get any questions answered and he kept us informed of local weather, etc. We will absolutely come back to this place!"

I had planned to travel there during a rather warm period and when booking I saw that it had air conditioning. Upon arrival the A/C is actually only two portable A/C units in the living room.
