This stunning location is one of the deepest valleys in Europe. You can see the road leading down and it zig-zags up the other side. There's a small village at the bottom but there's a cafe on one lookout that has a wonderful view over this scene. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area.

Lovely grounds surrounding the hotel were ideal for afternoon picnics or reading under the shade of the massive pine trees. Great restaurant in-house with locally sourced menu.
