"Oro Verde is a great hotel chain, but the one in Cuenca always forgets my Expedia VIP benefits and never offers me an upgrade. I have stayed there many times and these benefits have never been offered to me. The other branches round Ecuador have always offered these benefits to me. This is the only complaint I have about Oro Verde Cuenca."

"La propiedad está al lado de un centro comercial lo que le hace muy bulliciosa y si pides cambio de habitación te ofrecen hacerlo pero te advierten que la calle es más bulliciosa aun. La piscina no estaba disponible y no nos avisaron eso en el check in. Tuvimso que quejarnos para que nos dejen usarla 1 día. Era feriado de semana santa y entiendo que la tarifa suba pero unos conocidos en Cuenca me hicieron saber que "nos cobraron como a extranjeros" osea no sentí que el costo beneficio de un hotel de ese valor lo valió para nada."

"The place was very nice great area .Close to park and places to eat. The staff was great the breakfast was served individually by a very nice young man the front desk workers were great.The only thing I would suggest up grading tv and tv mount plus more hooks to hang things in bathroom and inside room.One more things shelves in bathroom for towels and or toiletries,Would recommend to anyone going to Cuenca"

Everyone is so sweet and attentive, and the breakfasts are gourmet. Wilmer is an amazing chef and manager. They go the extra mile to ensure guests have all they need to have a great stay in Cuenca. Great location too."
