"My wife & i spent one night during the carnival period. The place was clean, located near all the carnival activities and did not cost as much as the other nearby legacy hotels. However, it could do with a little upgrading & modernizing as it had a 1980's feel. "This was absolutely THE WORST accommodation I have ever booked via Expedia. Immediately upon arrival it became very clear that the information included on the booking page and the actual lodging arrangements were STRIKINGLY different. "Wendy, the proprietor, was great as well as everyone! Goergianne, Cherrie-Anne- so wonderful. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy. And watching the Leatherback turtles nest was amazing. It was a very safe and secluded space. And the food was perfectly amazing, even for someone as particular as me. I highly recommend for those wanting to experience the Trinidad island culture and hospitality."

"The borders were close due to Covid 19 the air line refunded my nonrefundable flight HOWEVER this hotel did not want to offer me a credit for a later stay WHEN PEOPLE WERE FREE TO ENTER THE COUNTRY. Although I was not asking for my money back. I think this was very dishonest. I will never recommend this place to anyone. however I will be in Trinidad as soon as I can.. DO not stay here I only booked because during the Carnival you don't really stay inside just change and go. "

"Our theme song…When last u been to TnT and yu room not ready Oh Ohhh …. Long Time… No toilet at night (no water)…. The WiFi did come before we when to sleep that night. "Great location, clean, wait staff in the restaurants are lovely and friendly. Great having taxis outside the hotel. Staff in the Cinnamon bar could be more friendly towards customers. Some consistency with cocktails and food coming out of the kitchen would be good (eg. jerk pasta was very different the two times I had it- had it again as it was so nice the first time). All in all a great place to stay and would stay here again. "
