"The staff are very friendly. Rooms are quiet except for the occasional door slamming shut. There is no restaurant at the hotel but you can use their microwave and fridge in staff kitchen. We went to the nearby M&S store to buy microwavable food and drinks. The hotel is not located near transit and it's best to have a car. Parking is free and it's easy drive to visit Stirling and Falkirk sights."

"The room was good with plenty of room and a large king size bed which was comfortable, Bathroom was good if a bit old fashioned. Staff friendly and helpful. There are a lot of stairs in the hotel, think carefully if you struggle to walk up or down stairs. There were two large coach parties staying so the restaurant was very full and it took us more than 2 hours to get our dinner."

"This is a really good budget hotel and excellent value for money. Our room was really spacious, spotlessly clean and bed was comfortable. Good quality television for a low price hotel and all the channels I wanted. Which you often don't get with more expensive budget hotels. Air conditioning worked well and easy to use. I had breakfast in the main building- really nice ambience, everything spotlessly clean, service really friendly and helpful and my cooked breakfast was spot on. Small but quality choice of continental breakfast- the pastries were excellent and the coffee decent. The whole place seems really well looked after and well managed. We would definitely stay again at a Marston's and especially Highland Gate at Stirling. Thank you."
