"The lake view was the best part, especially the sunsets. I'm too old now to go swimming in a lake, I just want to be near one, and this was perfect. It was immaculately clean, even though it is an older building, typical of what I remember "upta camp" to look like when I lived in Maine. Everything we needed was there except for the food we needed to get anyway, like milk and bread -- I forgot to replace the sugar packets however (sorry). The beds were very comfortable, though the stairway up was somewhat daunting for a 79 year old man -- I was careful going down.Overall, the description was totally accurate and complete, and it was an enormous pleasure to spend a week on a lake bacl home in Maine."

"Quiet location, very cozy cabin worked well for our family. Fishing was decent, pond was great for swimming and lots of toys at the cabin to enjoy the water. No TV which at first was a concern but guess what? It brought the family together to play games and enjoy each other! Highly recommend this place if the above works for you!"

"Our family had a wonderful week at the cabin. It was stocked with everything we needed. The little kids loved the platform on the lake and they used the paddle boat constantly! Mary is a wonderful attentive host. She responded promptly to my questions. She left the makings for s’mores, a bottle of wine and blueberry coffee cake for us which was such an extra treat. My favorite part of the week was the many loons living on the lake. They are my favorite bird! I would highly recommend this property!"
