"The home is on a finger of Claytor Lake, which was quiet and out of the wind. It is eclectic with kitchen on bottom level and living room area on the second level. You can access both levels independently from the driveway. Overall, comfortable for our needs given the weather wasn't great but we were in town for graduation."

"Serenity House worked well for our family during VT's spring 2024 graduation. The property is located on a quiet, no wake zone, knob of Claytor Lake. It was the perfect place for fishing and swimming. The home was appropriately advertised. Both the home and decking are older but clean and tidy. The directions were a bit misleading, Waze actually got us there easily. There should be more description of the very small road leading in, the steepness of the driveway and tiny turnaround areas. "This cute little cabin was absolutely perfect for us. Location was ideal. Couldn't have been more pleased. Hosts were great!!"

"We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our daughter's graduation from VCOM. We rented both Claytor Escape and Green Cape Cottage. We enjoyed the kayak, paddle boards and swimming off the dock. The house was clean and well-stocked. Check in was easy and the host was very responsive. And - the front porch of Claytor Escape is wonderful!"

"The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It was located right off the interstate which was convenient. I gave the location a 4 out 5 because if you’re looking for a location that has many restaurants/stores you will need to drive about 15-20 minutes. No big deal to do that. We would stay here again."
