"Comfortable room and bed. Room showing signs of age but clean and well maintained. A portable aircon unit and separate fan were provided (the aircon had a timer facility) and these were necessary and welcome. Decent size kettle in room compared to certain chains. Slowest lift in the known universe, but once you find your way round the stairs that’s fine. Definitely a cut above other properties nearby."

"Staff were very attentive, from friendly welcoming on arrival to loaning a charging adaptor, to breakfast on the following morning on the table at the time agreed. The bedroom however could benefit from a good clean, and suffered from dated decor. I however think the cost of the room was very good value. The Guest House is just a short walk from the Promenade close to the Tower, but is far enough away to not suffer from noisy revellers on a Friday night in mid Summer"
