Very comfortable if not a palace and was very clean. Peter was a great, funny and fantastic help. Would recommend the family room to anyone with kids to separate rooms in one.

Good value as right next door to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, especially with the parking included. Typical beach guest house decor vibes. The guy checking us in was very helpful and friendly. Save the money on the breakfast, as not the best selection, and head up the road 5 mins to the Wetherspoons instead.

Room was lovely, had everything we needed and was a great size. Staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Parking on site was also a bonus. Great location for access to transport and Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Enjoyable stay at the hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Location was brilliant for us as we attended a concert at Lytham so the train station was less than a minutes walk. The hotel is looking a little tired and rundown, however, it was clean and everything worked. Thanks also for the complimentary breakfast.

Avoid and be very careful! The hotel is in a very bad shape, it is well below any star rating. Lesson was to spend some more quids and stay at a better place. Water ran out without any notification in the morning, while waiting for water the cleaning lady threatened me to leave asap. Wifi not working, spooky corridors with filthy carpets. Very poorly trained and unprofessional staff who could even enter your room with their keys without knocking. The only positive point was location, close to the water front.

Great for a family budget

Lovely spacious family room with couch and t.v area, also had a dining table, Manager was very friendly and was kind tou our super active autistic son. Would definately stay here again

The room was fairly good the basic amenities were perfect such as breakfast as described and the hotel bathroom. The only issue is the bathroom seemed slightly unclean.But the service was excellent everyone was kind and talkative.

We stayed here for the weekend for my brothers 60th birthday and set up a surprise and Leah the manager was so helpful and helped us to make it possible. The rooms were exactly what we needed somewhere to clean up have a cup of tea and have a good nights sleep and the bed was very comfy. So all in all a good choice for us for a very reasonable price.

Check-in was very smoothly and free Parking, which is a massive bonus. Breakfast unfortunately is Continental and is a charge of £7.50 so we didn’t go down that road however the room was lovely and clean. Hotel looks a little bit dated could do with some new carpets and bits and bobs but would recommend I would definitely stay again. The staff are really friendly and very outgoing. That’s why I’m happy to give the place four stars out of five very clean very warm lovely Hotel.

The Room was clean, bed comfortable and staff very friendly, down to earth and cannot do enough to help, I asked for additional pillows and there was no hesitation, Leah on the late aft/eve reception was so nice to speak to and friend not to say genuine, as for all the pull downs this hotel gets I found this to be clean, comfortable and booked to stay again this weekend. We stayed in the Dutchman last year and paid more and we could not wait to leave there. For a budget hotel I would recommend The Nelson as the staff also make it, thank you for a lovely weekend.
