"Fantastic location for Train Station, serious shopping, dinning & Drinks"

"A beautiful, rural retreat. Wonderful facilities, extremely clean and homely. Comfortable bed with lots of in room extras, like home made shortbread, fresh milk with a mini fridge to store it in, lovely toiletries and a modern bathroom. Breakfast was freshly cooked using local produce, hence the brilliant taste. Excellent hosts who were so helpful, kind and genuinely interested and keen to assist and make our stay as nice as possible. Highly recommended. "

"Just what you need for an overnight stop or a base for local visiting. We were surprised to find we now have to pay a £5 parking fee as we had not booked directly with Days Inn, which was an unwelcome surprise"

Breakfast in he morning was equally nice - it is a beautiful old building and these areas were lovely. For us also useful that it had parking included. A very nice play to stay in Carlisle. "

"I had to ring ahead as I thought I would miss their opening hours, the proprietor was friendly+ helpful, said there would be no problem. In the following am was a very good breakfast, freshly cooked. Lovely place to stay. Very convenient for station and centre centre < 10 mins walk."
