The space was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything I needed. The location was perfect, close to downtown but still quiet, with easy access to the mountains and trails. The host was incredibly responsive and provided great local recommendations.

We booked this cute home for a quick stay before dropping off our son at summer camp, and this adorable and clean space was absolutely perfect. The location is walkable to the new Rail Yard, and all of the cute spots in downtown black mountain. Home was extremely clean inside and out, everything was well organized and easy to find. We will definitely stay again. 😀

Perfect for a quiet couples getaway. The description is 100% accurate. Everything we needed was there in the house, including every bit of information you could need about the area. There is no need to have a car unless you're leaving the town or maybe for a grocery run.
We will be returning for sure!

We absolutely loved Pinot Cottage! Everything about it was perfect…new, clean, comfortable, stylish, lots of little extra touches (coffee, tea, shampoo, conditioner, body wash), nice private hot tub and in a fantastic location - literally walkable to everything in the downtown Black Mountain area! Check-in & out was seamless and communication with Chris, the owner, was a breeze. This cottage is an exceptional value and we would definitely stay here again when in Black Mountain.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at the Intown Cottage. We could easily walk into downtown Black Mountain for everything. We also visited the nearby Lookout Brewery and Railyard, and had dinner at the Bush Farmhouse. Hiking in Montreat is just a few minutes away, and making a day trip to the Biltmore Estate only took about 15-20 minutes. The private hot tub was a great way to relax and recharge after our busy days. We ate out for each meal, but the kitchen has everything we would have needed to make great meals. All in all, it's a great property!

This getaway was overdue, but what a fantastic 2 night stay! From the outset, the hosts communicated above and beyond. When we arrived, the beautifully and simply designed space had information for how to use any appliances, the TV, explore the area, run the A/C & hot tub and more. Besides just getting away, this was a fun way to explore antique shops in the area. Coming up from SC, we stopped at favorite antique malls in Tryon and Hendersonville (Needful Things II) before check-in. While this two-story cottage is attached to another larger rental, we didn’t run into or hear the other guests, even though they were around. We had our own parking place and entrance. The bed was comfortable, the whole place including the bathroom was clean and organized beautifully, and the kitchen and living space were just right and comfortable for a couple. The one full day we had in Black Mountain, we visited a couple antique shops, gift shops, and local art shops. We ate at the crepe restaurant La Guinguette for lunch and Kilwins for a waffle cone. Everything was within walking distance that day, and we finished off by setting up folding chairs at The Railyard and watched fireworks with many in the community for the 4th of July. It was an easy two minute walk from the front door! After we checked out, we headed toward the Asheville area and made stops at our new favorite Buckeye Antiques before heading on to Altamont Antiques and the Tobacco Barn (on the same road with each other).

Happy found this place at last minute. stayed 2 nights with plans for a couple day hikes in the area. Stay here was less $$ vs Hampton inn for two nights. Arrived arrived 6p on Fri and went to Lookout brewing which is a very short walk down the road and ate from Mac's food truck. One thing we learned quickly is that places close pretty early in BM (9p-10p). Not a deal breaker as night life wasnt primary reason for going to BM. Really enjoyed the town, able to walk to most places we wanted to check out. on way back from Lookout, heard live music, so walked down the hill and found the Railyard which appears recently opened. Lots of space there (lots of kids and dogs). Didn't plan to do much cooking for the short stay but kitchen appeared to have all the essentials. nice that coffee (cups and grounds) provided. Bathroom is on second floor and have to walk thru sleeping area in loft to get to it, perhaps lil wonky when not staying with spouse, etc. in same bed (ie. someone sleeping downstairs has to walk through where other person sleeping) not a deal breaker though IMO. Bathroom shower curtain didnt seem to be hung correctly (ends doubled up), so wasnt long enough to span the entire length of shower. water didnt seem to splash out so perhaps not a big deal (not really issue for renter but more so to owner to avoid water damage). Hope to go back and stay here with my wife (friend felt the same)
