"Excellent location, large parking for free. Rooms well maintained with elegant look.Not all rooms have river view - check when booking, definitely worth it. Breakfast very nice and rich , the “full Scottish “ was nothing to write home about but nicely served and very attentive staff"

"I give this property a solid 4 in its class. That is to say an older, affordable walk-up in the city centre and near the train station. They could renovate, modernize and charge triple the rate. I had to depart before the complimentary breakfast was served but it looked plentiful and fresh. If you’re looking for basic overnight accommodation then this should suit."

"Great hotel along the River Ness! Our room had its own living room w tv, cozy chairs and a view of the river. Comfortable beds and large shower. Perfect location. Walking distance to Inverness castle experience, Victorian market, shopping etc. Great walking path around River Ness out your front door. Hotel had its own brewery and distillery on site. So feet from whiskey and beer!! Win win!! They also have a full restaurant. Would highly recommend"

"Great place. We liked it. A particular host gentleman( mostly his name was John) who is usually in the Bar and helps with the breakfast is very helpful and a great guy. Goes out of the way to help out. Highly recommended to stay here. Only thing to note it doesn’t have elevators but I think mostly no hotels in Skye have it."

"the hotel was clean and tidy but needs upgrading in the future like most hotels this age. the hotel is in good location for the town centre. The bedroom was a good size but unable to open any windows. The tv was hard to get local programs and streaming channels. Overall we would stay again as we new the age of the property when we booked."
