"Such a lovely property--the balcony is so relaxing. Rooms are wonderfully appointed and enjoyed our conversations with the owner. He was so helpful and interesting to chat with. This is truly a place to relax and enjoy in the small town of Kostanjevica na Krki. We had a wonderful stay! A gem in southeastern Slovenia--both Vila Castanea and the town."

"Location was easy walk to old town. Staff were very friendly and helpful giving us a map on arrival, storing our luggage as we were early and advising on best places to go. Room was very small with very loud toilet and shower ( was a mastercator one hence the noise). Walk to park car was a bit of a distance but location was secure in underground storage garage."

"I reached late night they never opened the door despite knocking for 30 minutes, It was cold freezing and raining, I almost died as this was isolated place and walking to any other hotel was very hard, I lost all my booking money and found a nic hotel at 2 am, all time horrible hotel experience."

"Amazing views and very clean and hospitable (and pet friendly) hotel. Would go there again. Road to hotel is a bit long and not recommended if tired, but the views... amazing!! Would go and may go there again. Staff also very friendly. "

"Worst customer service ever, they gave the door codes to me at 9:35pm on the 2nd and they were meant to be sent at 11am on the 1st (24 hours before check in).... so i was stuck without somewhere to stay 15000km from home. Not only this but the numner they gave me was actually for a hospital in Zagreb... After all that I tried to get some sort of refund from them and they blatently refused. Lying saying they sent email on time but I even sent myself test emails to make sure mailbox was working....
