"The beach villa is nice. Close to a small beach. You can walk to any place from the room, but the facility sends you a buggy to pick you up and drop you anywhere you like. The room is clean, the staff is super friendly at all times. Balcony faces the beach but there is some green and some trees in between. Still nice private room."

You typically only see the luxury resorts for Maldives but staying local was a great way to save some money and still have access to tours to explore the surrounding area and even visit a resort to get a touch of the experience. The island is still developing for tourists but Kaani was great with making the experience pleasant. There are plenty of restaurants...
