"Chance au Roy is situated in the countryside outside Aigneville. The accommodation is part of an estate, the owners living in a chateau the accommodation is in the grounds. It’s a beautiful setting but in need of some restoration. When we arrived we had a lovely welcome from Elizabeth the owner, she hadn’t been expecting us, despite booking ,but showed us a room that was available. "We loved our stay! The Gite is really quaint and with lots of room for a large family. The beds were really comfortable and it’s a very quiet location. Our dog absolutely loved it too with a huge garden to roam around. Just a few meters and you are at the top of the cliffs. What a view!! So beautiful. Isabelle was the perfect host and gave us lots of tips as well as some yummy local produce. We even had some bikes we could use to pop down to the boulangerie. The area is very quiet and not at all...
