"We rented this cabin and our friends rented the one next door. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked every meal there. Wish we used the pickleball court more -- playing with Don and Sondra was one of the highlights of our trip! One thing we didn’t expect was how close some of the RVs were to the cabin. Everyone was very nice and it didn’t actually bother us, but just wanted to note. Thanks for a great stay!!"

"This home has so many amenities and is very clean and well taken care of. There was items like aluminum foil and spices as well as coffee to help our stay be even better. Plus the owners are readily available if you have any issues. There was firewood on the property and the hot tub was hot and clean. The beds and furniture are very comfortable and the peaceful surroundings are so relaxing. Will be coming back for sure "

"The Red Star Cottage did not disappoint. Great spot for a small group of friends looking to get away from the city noise. The lake was great for our dog to swim and play and the paddle boat and row boat were out too. Pre season, so it was too chilly for us humans to swim. But lake was clean and sandy bottom! We had a bonfire with s’mores, grilled on the deck, and sat out under the stars. The cottage came with everything you would need. Only feedback would be more Tupperware to use for leftovers. Also the tap water was extremely rusty, however they have a filter for drinking purposes. Bathroom toilets were all rust stained pretty bad, but it didn’t bother us. Another positive was a super easy checkout process! Just clean up after yourself and the house cleaner handles most of the rest including laundry. Loved that. Will definitely come back. The little town of Bitely was interesting to check out too. "
