"The location was spectacular. As pictured, the apartment is just steps from the water. Listening to the waves crash outside our bedroom window allowed me to have the best sleep I've had in ages. There's a bench located just off the apartment property. People come there to sit and view the spectacular sunsets. I will say the sunset did not disappoint, they were amazing. It's located in a quaint little marina town. Good food and friendly people. As wonderful as the view, and the little town were,...

"The pool area has the most fantastic panoramic view imaginable with mountains and olive groves all around. The pool is quite small and there is only a single shaded area which is fine if you are only a single family like we were. But there are three apartments - and if they were all rented out at the same time, there wouldn't be enough space at the pool area at all. The house is fine with two bedrooms with ac and a fan. Two bathrooms with bath. Kitchen is well-functioning and nice private...

"Balestrate is a great location for making day trips. It' s not touristy. More locals, which reflects in the restaurants and gelaterias, which are full of ice cream loving Italians! Small shops nearby for excellent local food fare (burato cheese, proscuitto,wines, fresh bread and fruits). The roof top terrace was great for catching some sun in early April."
