"The property was large and was a good base to use being about 20 minutes from a beach and about 10 minutes walk from a park with swings etc for the grandchildren. It was about 5 minutes drive from an Aldi and Lidl. "

If you don’t want to drive there is lots to do in the immediate surrounding area. A short walk and you are down by the river, where there is a great coffee shop or friendly pub. "Had the most wonderful stay at Bolton Farm. Usually when coming to stay at places it lacks utensils and facilities, however Bolton Farm had everything you needed. The hosts kept the house and hot tub clean/heated throughout our stay. Perfect location with lovely views of fields. Lovely little Italian about a 5 minute walk away. Short drive into Durham itself. Thank you so much for making my dad's birthday a special one!"
