Favorite area in Ireland. County Atrim is such a beautiful coast. The Giant's Causeway is also really close to this castle. Interesting history about the castle is the entire kitchen; which was facing the cliff completely collapsed into the sea, killing the kitchen staff.

"Great, central location in Ireland. Could drive to Galway, Clanmacnoise, Rock of Cashel, Burren, Dublin area easily and be back. All within two hours, some even 20 minutes. Parking great and walked to pubs, music, groceries, etc. 8 family including kids. Kids loved the loft area and family loved main dining/living area. Beds basic and comfortable, price was great for family budget! Thanks Sean!"

Lovely hotel

"Lovely hotel with very helpful staff we were given an upgrade on the room as it was my husband’s birthday the room was lovely with a great view mabey an extra couple ofsmall towels would be great hard to wrap your hair in large towels i know i could have asked but didn’t bother so not a complaint just an idea lounge area was lovely as was breakfast "
