RED #9. The Woodward Dream Cruise is a classic car event held annually on the third Saturday in August. It is officially a three day event but unofficially it will run a week or more. The event draws thousands of classic car and a million plus spectators from around the globe. This will be the 27th year of the cruise.

"I was upset the night we checked in, an wrote a horrible review in my head over night. The reason for picking this hotel was that we could leave our car to go to Tigers game and then easily hop on the freeway and head home afterwards. Parking was $55 overnight, which is higher than we pay downtown Atlanta but ok. Then there was a sign up saying if we left car, after check-out we'd be charged $75 and the night clerk wasn't budging. In the morning I decided I pay it, since it was the simplest option, but I was pissed, until I handed over my credit card and was told I'd only be charged another $20, Much more reasonable paying $75 for the 24 hours we were there. If they keep this policy we'd stay again...room and breakfast were good."
