"We were particularly impressed with the breakfast and dinner, due the beautifully renovated dining room, high food quality and outstanding service! Don’t miss out on the made-to-order eggs benedict off the breakfast menu, as it is exceptional! In addition, we appreciated the friendliness and professionalism of all hotel staff. While this long-standing hotel is under new ownership, the focus seems to be on maintaining and enhancing its unique charm and character."

"Very nice place. Not super-central, but close to the university and an easy 15-min walk into the center, with a couple of supermarkets close by. Also discovered a great Persian neighborhood restaurant (Queen's) around the corner."

"The hotel is great! The building is historic so it’s older but well maintained and taken care of. Our room was small but had everything we needed. Our only problem was the WiFi was nonexistent from our room. Downstairs it worked but we couldn’t connect up on the third floor."

"We have stayed for one night only. The room was spacious and clean. It was quiet so we had a good night sleep. Breakfast was really good: wide selection of fresh produce and tasty treats. Another plus was free parking. Location is ok too - the hotel is not too far from a city centre."

"No hot drink facilities in room. Specific room request was actioned. Bed/pillows were comfy and room a good temperature. Hotel immediate surrounding area looked a bit run down/almost industrial area, but hotel itself was lovely. Quiet and well-maintained. We were only there as passing through, but seemed to have plenty of facilities for those looking for hiking/cycling the surrounding areas."
