Collier Cabin in Pine Hollow ~ Eminence, MO

  • Cabin located up a private road on a ridge above pine hollow, driveway is fairly steep, but not bad. Property is 200 acres surrounded by Rocky Creek conservation land. Our home is located on the property just past the cabin. ATV access trails to State land close by. Trails and dirt road access to Eminence where a variety of trails are also available to ride. Enjoy day trips to the Jack Fork River, Current River, Eleven Point River, Rocky Falls, Blue Spring and Klepzig Mill. Canoe, kayak, rafting and tubing outfitters close by. Cell service.... not so good. Guests can use wifi calling.
    The space
    Quiet, remote and secluded area. Only 7 miles from Eminence and 5 to the Jacks Fork River. We rarely see our guests except occasionally in passing. We believe in giving people their privacy.

This was our second time staying here. We truly love this place. We stayed the week. This place is charming with loving touches from the owner everywhere. This cabin has absolutely everything you could need or want. It's the perfect distance from town. Completely private. This is by far our favorite place to stay when we come to Eminence. We hope to return in the fall.

We had a great time and we were able to relax and unwind here. The host was responsive and the cabin was fully stocked and clean! My husband was so impressed with the charcoal grill. It looked barely used and clean, which we appreciated being that we cooked dinner both nights on it. The drive up the hill to the cabin is pretty steep, but our all-wheel drive handled it well. The bed is the only thing that could be upgraded. Otherwise, we had no complaints and would stay here again!

It was perfect place to stay! Secluded, yet close to town. Was basically in middle of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, was able to visit all of the NPS places to see within the Scenic Riverways

Had a great time and will return! Jodi was a great host and we visited her lovely shop in town which we highly recommend to you as well. Found one of the four herds of wild horses while in town.

Host was quite welcoming. The locale was absolutely beautiful. All the amenties were available, but some might need updating, particularly the mattress and shower.

Cozy and Secluded

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was beautiful and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Very nice owners. We even took a look through Jody’s store in Eminence.

Collier Cabin was a perfect base camp for our family-of-two Ozark National Scenic Riverway adventure (kayaking on the Jacks Fork - Alley Spring to Eminence, swimming at Rocky Falls and Johnson's shut-ins SP, visiting Prairie Hollow Gorge and Barn Hollow Gorge natural areas, plus we found the Shawnee Creek wild horses). Loved the setting in the woods - the sounds at night by a fire and birds in the morning with coffee. Inside, plenty of room and all the amenities, very comfortable, and the hosts were quite hospitable before and during our stay.

We absolutely loved this place! Everything was so perfectly curated from the art work to the light fixtures to the extremely comfortable furniture. They have an epic DVD collection along with Direct TV. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen too. Its also the perfect distance from town. Still very close but very secluded. Even the little road to get to the property is charming. We cant wait to stay here again!

This spot was awesome. Out side of town,(secluded),still with in 15min of Eminence. Complete to meet general household needs. Comfortable. You are out in the woodsabd thats exactly what you get. The gost os aweaome,kind,and responsive if needed. We had a great time!

Beautiful cabin surrounded with woods, we saw three turtles and made friends with lots of bugs. We were a lot closer to the owners than I thought, but they were very kind people. They were very active on communication as well!! Would recommend

Cozy Cabin

Everything about the Collier Cozy Cabin was spot on. Easy check-in. Full accommodations, Kitchen, bath, Laundry, etc.The gravel driveway is a bit steep but had no problems navigating it. Very Quiet location. The covered porch was nice during the rain we had. Would certainly recommend to a friend.

We enjoyed staying at the cabin. I feel like we got the real Ozark Mountain experience by driving down the gravel road, fording the stream and driving up the steep Hill. I’m glad we had our Subaru Forester. Mazda Miata wouldn’t have made it! We were visiting my wife’s cousin and her husband who live near eminence

Great people and a very nice secluded cabin!

We stayed 5 nights in this cabin and it was exactly what we were looking for! Very peaceful and secluded with great owners. We brought our SXS and as promised it had direct trail access to take you to eminence and anywhere else you might want to explore. If you are looking for something close to town but atill want your privacy than this is the place for you
