"Staff was friendly enough I suppose. I asked what the $20 deposit was for when I paid in full already and she responded with "that's just what we do". Not rude but maybe not a people person. The room was decent and beds were clean, however they do need to invest in pest control. The older man that cleaned the rooms was very kind. All in all the stay was great, across from the water for that rate was what we needed."

"Nice room. Not sure why TV volume was set to half-way. Couldn't here TV at all. Other than that, everything was good. If they don't fix the TV volume, I will not stay again...."

"We stayed here for my daughter’s volleyball tournament, and it was a great experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for the weekend. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It was also conveniently located about 15 minutes from the coliseum, which made getting back and forth easy. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Don't go there. I booked a nonsmoking room at Twin Star Lodge a week in advance. When I arrived they moved me down the street to the Star Lodge where they only had a smoking room.The bathroom light didn't work, but there were four whole cigarette tracks burned into the shower base (Who does that?). The air conditioner was falling off the wall.There are inexpensive alternatives on the beach. Shame on Expedia for listing this place!"

"This is our 1st visit to this hotel. The room was slightly small for a King, nothing was loaded on the tv for viewing any shows. We had to put our own membership online to view. The restaurant was adequate but with the amount of people trying to get fed the wait was over an hour, hotel should up the staff on weekends. The casino was not very inviting with only 2 tables to play blackjack for $15 a hand.I will check out other hotels and see if this is the norm. "
