"Poorly maintained, master bedroom door handle was on top of the cupboard and the shower hose leaks. Not enough electrical sockets to provide power to laptop and lights. Furniture was a bit uncomfortable. Bed was very squeaky. Overall adequate for its purposes and met expectations. Wifi details provided were incorrect, but its on the hub so managed. TV was only usable with youtube as its the only service available that didn't require signing in. No live digital channels available. ...

"What a wonderful house and in such a nice neighbourhood and only a short ride to city centre. The house is great with the most comfortable beds, excellent wi-fi, immaculately clean with all the amenities one would need. Just sorry we were not staying longer but already planning a friends reunion for later in 2024 and definitely want to stay in Dreghorn House. Thanks to lovely host Lisa for all your help."

"This was our second stay at this property and it was just as good as the first. Just 30 mins drive from Edinburgh, and 10 mins from the Pentland Hills it's perfect for both a city and country break. Extremely dog friendly too with plenty of space to run around outside. All communication was clear and timely, and we were greeted with a bottle of wine, lovely note and flowers. We will certainly try and return for a third stay in future."

"There were issues with obtaining the checkin details in a timely manner. Property only superficially clean set in a not very pleasant location with an appalling access road. The boiler was extremely smelly and there were no instructions for the heating. Towels were totally inadequate in this day and age."

"Wow what an amazing experience we had at East twin cottage carmichael, the property is a little dated but very clean and in an amazing location. We had deer field for our back garden and we even witnessed a deer give birth just meters away from us on quite morning! They people who run the business are so friendly and helpful. The bistro is a must as food is amazing and the owners are so friendly and even sat and had a drink with us after closing! Directly in front of the cottage behind trees is...
