DETAILS: Tanager House is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath modern mountain home that sleeps 8 in the Moonlight Basin community. With sweeping views of the Madison Range, including Lone Peak and the Spanish Peaks, Big Sky Resort is only 2.4 miles away! Guests will love having direct ski-in/ski-out access from a groomed, novice-friendly ski trail that leads to Madison Base Area, as well as the private hot tub that is perfect for soothing muscles after a day on the mountain.

This stunning 2-story home, updated in 2022, boasts new carpets and furniture, modern window treatments, stylish light fixtures, and captivating art with many pieces by Montana artists. An open foyer with a bench, hooks, and 4 ski lockers, alongside boot dryers and ski racks in the garage, sets the tone for a convenient alpine getaway. A nearby laundry room ensures all gear is ready for tomorrow’s adventure. Step inside the well-lit living area with clean lines, where a spacious sectional comfortably seats guests, complete with 2 armchairs for a tranquil gathering place. Talk, play games, or watch the 55” TV while being warmed by the remote-controlled gas fireplace. Continue into the dining area, a custom stone table seats 8, while the adjacent kitchen’s open layout facilitates a social atmosphere while preparing meals on the high-end Thermador appliances. Gorgeous and cozy home!

I visited during shoulder season for a few days in October right when a snow storm was hitting so there weren’t too many things open (ski resort, trails, Yellowstone, etc.). Luckily the home was AMAZING! Very cozy and lots of board games in the cabinet to keep us busy

Great modern home.

We stayed in this home March 2019 and loved the ski in/out. The home was very comfortable and well stocked with dishes, games, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergeant, etc. Loved the beautiful art work and ski boot warmer in the garage. Only drawback is grocery/restaurant is in the towne center about 8 miles away.

Beautifully decorated home in a perfect location

We visited in early February for a ski trip and it was one of my favorite places I've ever stayed. The home is decorated beautifully, was perfectly cleaned, and had everything we needed for our stay - ample kitchen utensils, blankets, towels, soap, everything. We especially enjoyed having a garage and a giant drying rack for ski boots. The location was incredible as well. Very easy to ski to and from. We will definitely be looking to book this house again in the future!
