Tree Top Cottage- Romantic HOT TUB WiFi Pets 125.00/165.00

Tree Top Cottage is dressed up for the Summer and waiting for you to arrive!!We do not accept children. We are Pet Friendly. Our little cottage is perfect for that Romantic Getaway. It is a favorite with Honeymooners!! It has been described as nice as a 5 star hotel. Wonderful quiet upper scale location, Beautiful Cottage, Close to everything Big Bear Lake has to offer. A 8 minute drive to the Lake and Village , 5 minute drive to Ski Resorts. No A/C but we do have two very nice and expensive floor fans.. One in the living area and one in the bedroom. We are 7,000 feet up in the mountains and it cools down at night in the summer. Most rentals in the mountains do not have A/C. If you have to have A/C please go to the filters and make that one of your selections. Then all of those rentals that do have air will come up.
The cottage is for two adults only and, we can only have one vehicle at the cottage. If there is ever a problem we take care of it immediately. Just give us a call. When you make your reservation your map to the cottage and confirmation will be emailed to you. We will also need the other guest name, your address and a cell number that you will have with you while you are at the cottage.

Our Rental Policy is listed below. It will list all of our policies and fees. This is what you will need to abide by. We will also email you a copy.

A one time cleaning fee of 100.00 will be added to your total.

Beautiful Neighborhood: We are located in the Foxfarm/Moonridge area of Big Bear . Which allows you to take long walks and gaze at our wildlife and big pine trees. The cottage is about a 5 minute drive to Bear Mountain and the Golf Course and about a 5 minute drive to The Summit, Village and Lake.

Tree Top Cottage Rental Policy

We will need your address the second guest name and a cell number that you will have at the cottage. A deposit of half of the total or total is to be PAID when reservation is made. The balance of your reservation (the other half) will need to be paid before 10 days of arrival date or your reservation and money paid will be lost. .Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.

Refunds: We do not give refunds for weather related conditions. We do not give refunds if you do not arrive at all. But you can change your date if all roads to Big Bear Lake are closed. We do not issue refunds after you have fulfilled your stay.

You can change dates of reservation if it is done before 30 days of arrival date in order to save the money you have paid. A credit is issued and you will need to use this within 6 months and the new date cannot be canceled or changed.

You are responsible for any damages to the cottage or any contents inside or out. This includes, any damages to floors, bathroom, shower head, furniture, appliances, spots on all linens that will not come out, broken dishes, damaged cookware, Television, home theater system, Hot Tub etc .also includes leaving cover off of hot tub when not in use. All trash must be taken with you when you check out. Food must be out of Refrigerator.

Please be careful on the steps up to the cottage and the outside & inside area. We are not responsible for injuries. Please do not wax your snowboards at the cottage. You may bring a small grill if it is propane. NO PARTIES OR LOUD MUSIC. MUST BE ONLY TWO GUESTS & ONE VEHICLE AT ANY TIME. NO VISITORS

There is a one time $100.00 cleaning fee
You will have to pay for any damages to the cottage, hot tub and any items inside of the cottage
The Cottage is for 2 adults only.
If more than 2 quests are there at any time you will be ask to vacate the cottage and money will be lost.

CHECK OUT is by 11:00 CHECK IN is after 4:00 unless permission is given for early check-in or later check-out
Must be 21 years old
We accept well behaved dogs. Please let us know when making reservation. Must bring something to put on furniture for shedding.

Great place to stay. Close to the village and the lake. Clean and quiet. Lovely welcome sign and wine for us to enjoy. It was 90 degrees outside and their fans were fantastic. Attentive hosts!

Big Bear Birthday Getaway💕
This Tree Top cottage was the perfect, romantic place to celebrate my birthday! From the minute we opened the door, we knew we had chosen the perfect place! From the welcome sign that greeted us upon our entry… To the doggy bowl and treat for our pup… To the complementary bottle of wine, we felt right at home. We loved the gas fireplace… It kept us warm and cozy our whole trip. The bed was so comfortable, the towels were plentiful, and so plush! The Jacuzzi was the perfect way to end our busy day, and It was a special treat to sit in the jacuzzi and watch it snow. All of the amenities supplied by Connie and Greg were very classy, they definitely made every effort to pay attention to small details. Greg and Connie were perfect hosts. Communication with them was always easy to understand and quick. My husband and I would highly recommend this cottage for anyone wanting to have a peaceful and romantic getaway.

Perfect place for a getaway
We loved staying there, and with some with a larger dog there was plenty of room for our dog to still be able to relax, stretch her legs and be comfortable. We loved having a little fence that gave us privacy from the neighbors but I think the best part was the hot tub. If I had to nitpick the Wi-Fi wasn’t the best, the router must be in the main house because my partner had issues with be kicked on and off the Wi-Fi and was a bit slow. But overall would rebook again

Fantastic stay!
My husband and I had such a lovely stay at the cottage. It was very clean and cozy. Greg and Connie were very attentive and left a bottle wine with a lovely note for us as it was my birthday. The cottage has gorgeous windows and skylights that give it so much light and space. It was also very quiet which we loved. Thank you so much for everything! We will be back.

Steps were a little unsafe. Cottage was not air conditioned and it was HOT until wee hours of the morning. Not conducive to good sleep. We were not comfortable in the cottage for 85% of the time due to heat. Cobwebs all over the front door area and steps. For receiving paying guests we feel this should have been cleaner. Inside the cottage was very clean.

Too hot for a summer stay with no AC
We enjoyed Big Bear and the location was okay, however the apartment was upstairs over a garage and very hot. We had two fans and windows open but it was uncomfortable to sit and chill and sleep. With the windows open we could hear the road noise and the neighbor’s conversations. The jacuzzi lid, deck and patio furniture were on a lower level and not rinsed off or ready for use. The power went out and the owners were very responsive. Unfortunately, just not the couples getaway we were hoping for.

Perfect couples getaway
Treetop Cottage was the perfect getaway. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The cottage is in a quiet area, it's very clean well kept and beautifully decorated. You can tell the owners really care about the cottage and their guests. They even had a bottle of our favorite wine ready for us upon arrival :-) It's also close to town and hiking trails and after a long day the jacuzzi felt fantastic! We definitely enjoyed our stay at the Treetop Cottage

Its an over garage unit up 18 steps
I was unimpressed - it had a lot of carpeting that looked dirty and as far as being pet friendly, there wasn't a truly fenced area - all picket fence that existed was low and open. it was up 18 steps above a garage, there wasn't any lawn as shown in the pics just all dirt. Cameras to watch your every move. They were super strict about 1 car - when my partner was driving amd meeting me so they had to risk parking at the nearby grocery store. They left a "cleaning tip envelope". To me it ffelt very little money was put into the place.Oh and the bed sagged in the center so it literally sloped into the center with 2 people trying to sleep. The hot tub is shared and fenced on 3 sides and on the downstairs level totally seperate from the unit.

My husband and I really enjoyed this little place! It was cute and cozy and was a warm welcome after the big storms. We didn’t use the hot tub because it was raining during the times we would have liked to use it, but it was a nice option to have. If you’re looking for a little romantic getaway, this is your place!

Great anniversary nest
We wanted to be away from the lake and town, this is quiet, in a residential neighborhood, but easy drive to all. As others have mentioned it is super for a couple, very comfortable & cozy. Often holiday rentals are for family groups (& good they exist) but a couple kind of rattles around. This was perfect. We ate dinners out, it was an anniversary celebration. It has 2 burner stove top, toaster oven & microwave so full cooking possible but not aimed at master chefs.

Absolutely lovely home, perfect for the two people. Warm fireplace and comfortable soft bed. Was the perfect get away and would definitely stay again given the chance. I would say the highlight of the stay was watching the vibrant birds and squirrels that came to visit!

This is a perfect place for two. It is very romantic! Greg and Connie, the owners were very accessable. We picked a bad weekend for skiing (sleet, freezing rain, and icy roads) We were so pleased with this property though that we had a great weekend! Would love to stay again!

Great accommodation! Very well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Very clear instructions for using the hot tub and entertainment center. Well maintained and clean property. The private hot tub was a huge plus. Communication with host the host was excellent. I would recommend this spot to anyone.
