"This was a room in a house with a shared bathroom which was well stocked and clean. We had access to a full kitchen, large dining area, a balcony. The room was nice and the area was nice in a small town that felt safe. Lovely house with nice amenities in the lobby area as well."

"We chose this location for access to Snæfellsbær Peninsula and price. An old farmhouse converted so the rooms are small and the floors creak with age. The house has great character. Kitchen is well equipped with basics and the breakfast provided (help and make yourself) was varied and plentiful. Beds were comfortable. Great for a short stay. We stayed two nights."

"It is a lovely property with a great view. The cottage had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. The cafe had great food and the prices were reasonable for the area. Only complaint was that the hot tub area did not have no-slip mats and with the water and cold the floor froze up and I fell and broke my arm. "This is our third time in Iceland & we have stayed in a different part each time. I have to say that this location is ideal for getting to the north & the peninsula. The house is in a quiet location & it has everything you need. Everything is in great working order & it’s clean & homey. The communication with the owner is excellent & they have very thorough house instructions that I appreciate. I would gladly stay here again & I highly recommend it to others. "
