Cozy bungalow with large enclosed garden

A cosy and comfortable bungalow near the village of Baillamont; perfect for a restful holiday. Almost everything is on the ground floor, except a double bed and a small sitting area, which are on the 1st floor. Thanks to the well-enclosed garden, dogs can also enjoy a carefree holiday.

Baillamont is a great base for exploring all the natural beauty of the southern and western Ardennes. Bouillon, Alle, Vresse and Rochehaut are just a short distance away and the French border is only 30 minutes away. Enjoy a pleasant evening in Café Route 65 and admire the beautiful starry sky on your way back. There are 2 hiking maps for Bièvre and Vresse ready for the enthusiast.

There is a spacious, fenced garden around the house, where you can sit comfortably in the sun. At the front there are some large trees for a good shelter. At the rear are meadows. The house therefore offers more than enough privacy. Moreover, there is a DVD player with more than 100 DVDs for children, so they do not have to get bored on rainy days.

Huisje en tuin zijn fijn. Het huisje is klein en knus en rustig De bovenetage lijkt me lastig te bereiken en laag. De schuur/garage is zeker handig voor je spullen. Handig om natte spullen te droger. Jammer dat het daar wel stonk. De tuin biedt diverse zon en schaduw plekken en is goed afgeschermd. Echter de bedden zijn veel te zacht. Goed slapen is wel een must om te kunnen genieten van de hier wel heel mooie en rustige omgeving. Goed dat er horren zaten want ik denk in de zomer dat de koeien wel veel vliegen overlast geven. Nu in het najaar weinig last van gehad.

Deze accommodatie is prachtig gelegen aan het eind van de straat met een paar huizen. 24 uur stilte om je heen, zodat je heerlijk kunt uitslapen. Het huis is functioneel ingericht. De keuken is praktisch gebouwd zodat je met z'n tweeën tegelijk aan de slag kunt gaan. De eigenaar, Alex, en de beheerder, Valerie, gaven van tevoren heel netjes aan dat er twee kleine euvels waren. Alex bood gelijk een korting aan als de euvels niet waren verholpen tijdens ons verblijf. De houtkachel brandt super, mede doordat er voldoende gedroogd hout ligt. De zithoek is super en nodig uit om lekker lui liggend tv te kijken. Voldoende zenders waaronder NED 1, 2 en 3. Je eigen films kijken kan met je eigen chromecast. Ook liggen er meer dan voldoende dvd's. De tuin is goed omheind en groot genoeg om met de hond te spelen. De aanpalende garage is prima om je losse spullen te plaatsen. De tweede koelkast en vrieskast is handig als je veel tegelijk wil bewaren. De Carrefour is 5 minuten met de auto en heeft een toereikend assortiment. Deze heeft ook goed brood, iets wat je in België niet overal kunt krijgen. Tot slot is de prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding dik in orde.

Wij zijn hartelijk ontvangen, een mooi schoon huisje met vanalles erin. Voor de honden is het geweldig een grote tuin met schaduw en een omheining. Een mooie terras waar je lekker in de zon kan vertoeven. We kunnen hier goed slapen het is hier erg rustig.

Vriendelijk onthaal. Het is een klein maar fijn huisje om met 4 volwassenen en een hond in te verblijven. Het is wel een koud huis. Alleen de open haard (een pluspunt) is niet voldoende op koude dagen. Het zijn goede bedden en het is gezellig ingericht. De tuin is helemaal omheind. Achter het huis is een open veld en verder zit je tussen de kerstbomen (pépinière). Wandelen kan vanaf het huisje maar er zijn geen wandelroutes aangegeven. De douche lekte maar zag er nog nieuw uit en men ging dit verhelpen. Wij hebben een fijn, gezellig weekend gehad en hebben geen spijt van onze keuze.
