"Nice and clean. Central location was ideal for us. Perfect for a couple of a short break. Be aware the stairs are very steep and narrow. Didn't bother us but would affect some. Gardens looked amazing unfortunately we didn't have the weather to explore them"

"We had a very enjoyable stay near Melrand. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. Martin was there to welcome us and gave some useful tips on places to visit. We particularly liked the music & dance ( & cider!) at the local pardon. There are some good walks nearby."

"Pour résumer, la qualité du logement laisse à désirer en matière de propreté : poussière sous le lit et miettes dans les tiroirs étaient présentes. Une forte odeur de renfermé et d'humidité régnait, et il était impossible d'utiliser le chauffage pour atténuer ce problème, les radiateurs étant coupés et inopérants. Il y a un an, nous avions loué un appartement au premier étage dans le même immeuble, où tout était irréprochable. Aujourd’hui, cette expérience est malheureusement très décevante."

"We had a brilliant stay at Canal Cottage. The outdoor space is amazing, and Dave and Viv really have thought of everything to make the most of the indoor space. Our boys loved the massive garden, and we all enjoyed the hot tub and eating outdoors. Dave and Viv are very hospitable but in no way intrusive. We would definitely recommend!"

"Appartement conforme à la description. Equipement moderne (plaque de cuisson et télévision) qui trouble le quotidien de personnes d'un certain âge. Surpris de voir en arrivant la porte d'entrée du logement "rafistolée". Je regrette le manque d'accueil par une personne physique. Autrement, séjour agréable malgré la pluie ."

"The couple that run the hotel are so kind! There was a funny mistake from the language barrier but everything worked out and they truly go above and beyond to make you comfortable! We did choose to buy a fan for the room but that’s because we’re spoiled Americans accustomed to sleeping in 65 degrees even in the summer. "

"Fabulous Hotel The staff could not do enough to help make your stay memorable Breakfast was quite expensive but so much choice and hot food available The suite overlooked the water and had everything you could wish for We cannot rate the hotel high enough which has a luxury spa and pools 5* Plus "

"One hour and a half for the check in due to a problem between Expedia and the hotel. We had to fix the problem by calling ourself the support and then pass the phone to the manager of the hotel. It was unreal, I would have expected a more friendly approach after the help we gave and not to stand for more than an hour in the hall arguing about breakfast and conditions. Maybe the best staff but in this uncommon situation they didn’t show it."
