"Great for an overnight stay. Plenty parking, but watch height restriction into main bit of carpark. Our room and I think most rooms, was away from bar area and road so not noisy. Really clean, good condition, great for an overnight stay, but standard room a bit small for an extended stay. Allow time for breakfast in the morning, great choice and cooked to order, worth the wait. Meal in bar in evening good. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Would stay here again and would recommend. "This was our gem of a find while searching for places to stay during our recent holiday. We were planning on staying somewhere else a fair distance away until we saw the image for this hotel. When they say its on the cliff, it literally is that close and the views are incredible! Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Hotel has a restaurant and bar downstairs as there arent a lot of places nearby. Lots of parking available, overnight parking is for the hotel guests only, so no problems with parking! Would definitely come back here."

"We always find hotel rooms too hot, so take the duvet out of its cover and just use the cover. After our return at the end of our first full day, my heart sank as I though the housekeeping team had re-bagged it. However, n closer inspection whilst they had done just that, they also gave us another duvet cover so that the duvet could stay covered up. All the toiletries were very nice and refillable large bottles, not the small single use ones. Breakfast was excellent if a little pricey. £16.50 for full English."

"Great accommodation, the pool and games room were perfect for our young teens. Lovely local area, the chip shop was the best fish and chips we’ve had in a long time. We visited Clovelly and the near by waterpark, both were well worth the visit. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again"

"What a delightful experience it was to stay at Instow Barton B&B and be hosted by Colin & Caroline. Happy, bubbly and a very friendly reception on our arrival. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of there way to make us feel welcome in there home. Very generous size bedroom, large barthoom and cake was in our room everyday! Breakfast menu was extensive and varied. Quality of food was of a 5 Star standard and presented in a timely and professional manner. I’d go as far as to say that we were being hosted by a couple that were Customer focused and there main aim was to ensure that we received the very best service that was on offer. Can highly recommend Instow Barton to anyone wanting to stay over for a special midweek or weekend break. This B&B is special. Ian & Cathy Perth, Western Australia"
