"Terrific place for short term stay. Room was too small for a four day stay. Only one chair could fit into the room; I had to spend my time in the bed. But small price to pay for a well kept room. Close to everything we needed."

"What a beautiful historical home, meticulously restored and furnished. Excellent location, safe neighborhood, easy access to restaurants. Nice bath sheets and linens including bathrobes. Lovely. We were on the third floor in room 7-Norma. If you can’t climb stairs, be sure to get a room on a lower floor. The only suggestion I have is to extend breakfast hours. Breakfast is served from 8-9. "This hotel was disgusting. The bathroom door was so warped that it wouldn’t even shut. The ac unit ran non-stop, keeping me awake all night. I couldn’t turn it down or the room got too hot. The bathtub wall was peeling. I checked in online, it asked for my credit card for my pet deposit and then the front desk made me pay there. Just an unnecessary run around after traveling all day."

"I liked that it was cheap and the staff was very helpful and nice. I did not like that my sink would not drain and my bathroom fan did not work. My bathroom also constantly put out heat and humidity so the ac never stopped running and needed to run to even keep it tolerable."

"It is a bit of traffic to get off I-80 and down here, but if you are heading Hwy 2 East, it is a great Oasis. Nice shower, friendly to pets, and a great breakfast. Not all Hampton Inns accept pets, sadly, or I would be a regular!"
