Il signor Carmelo e suo figlio Marco gentilissimi, ci hanno dato tanti consigli utili su come muoverci nella zona, cosa visitare e dove mangiare. Il B&B si trova in pieno centro, e tutti i posti da vedere in città sono raggiungibili a piedi. Torneremo sicuramente."

"The property is in a residential area. Big gate and on the post , a small signage of the hotel’s name. We spoke to someone on the intercom at the gate, the gate then opens. The property has a rustic charm. Some reviews we’ve read mentioned that the property needs renovation or updates. We think they don’t, it’s part of the charm (for us anyway, who are just visiting Italy). We only stayed for one night so didn’t get to use their swimming pool but it looks okay and romantic in the evening....

"A small hotel on Mt Etna. Two brothers manage the family property and they are both great. The chef (Mateo) serves up delicious dinners. You should know that it is an hour or so from any village. It is about 25 minutes from the main area at the top of Etna and close to amazing country (Etna’s slopes are like nothing I have ever seen). So a wonderful little hotel. Highly recommend it. "

"I really loved Castiglione di Sicilia - the town is perched on top of a crest of mountain and looks amazing as you are driving in. This seemed like quite a small town with lots of older folk in their older fiats and renaults, or sitting on street corners for a coffee or drink. Cento Tari Guest House was lovely - very well presented, and cosy and the hosts were lovely at checkin and at breakfast. "We spent an idyllic week at Residence Terra Rossa in April. We found the landscaped gardens inside the gated property to be delightfully peaceful with beautiful views of the coast below. The manager was extremely helpful with directions and information ahead of our arrival, making our late evening arrival and self check-in very smooth and stress free.
