"We were one adult and 2 children (10 & 11 yrs old) traveling to London for the first time. We booked this hotel because it was reviewed as family friendly, and that it was! The rooms were large and the pullout couch was already made for us upon our late night arrival. Daily breakfast had a good assortment and the hours were spread enough fir us to get to with jetlag. The blackout curtains worked magic! Location was great. Ubers are hard to get (often cancelled or delayed) but there was an accessible tube stop just across Westminster bridge. Big Ben is just across the bridge and kids activities like the Aquarium and Shrek Adventure were just a block away. Plenty to access easily with children without too much walking. Warning- late night checkin is closed so download the app for a remote key in advance. The pool is also via reservation only and the spa is not really a standalone spa location. The services were reasonable but take place in a converted hotel room on the 15th floor, not in a formal "spa" I would stay again!"

Otherwander Soho Pod Hotel

"Staff was so helpful and pods were extra comfortable (would have preferred two pillows as the pillows are extremely soft and on the thinner side) but the space, security, and showers more then made up for it. Also, be advised that the floor was male and female. Not sure if they have a female only option but that would be a good option as well. Overall it was an awesome experience!"

"The staff were friendly upon arrival and the self checkin process is fairly straightforward. Our room was fairly simple and very minimal; only two bunk beds, hooks on the wall and what I believe was a scarf ring. We used our checkin luggage as a little table to place some items as there was nothing available for us to use. The restroom was nice and clean however, I felt that most of the items are very low placed; the sink was so low, mirrors were low and I had to squat a bit to be able to see my head. The property is super clean and has a strong clean perfume smell in their lobby, but can get a bit too strong and concentrated near the elevator corner. The cafe downstairs was fairly convenient and staff were always friendly to fill our water bottles with free ice and fresh water, so that was nice. This may be a first world American problem, but I wish the downstairs gym was an included amenity for guests to use, but you have to download an app and buy a separate pass to use it. Ultimately, it’s an okay place that has what you need; a room with AC, a bed and a working restroom, but you can’t beat the price for the place you’re at in London. You are truly in the heart of everything and can easily walk towards any direction and create a whole new adventure. Would definitely stay here again on a solo trip"
