"The evening front desk clerk, while not nasty, was less than welcoming. Fortunately the gentleman at the desk in the morning more than made up for it. The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels. The hallway could use some refreshing. Would stay there again if the need arose."

"Very great location and nicely stocked with items in kitchen and extra supplies for bathroom . Loved the river in back of us . I only had 1 complaint .. The living room rug was covered in dog hair and I didn't have an animals . Had an amazing visit with family and would definitely go back again ."

"The cabin was wonderful. The scenery was amazing. We had a great time. Then I got home and was asked to pay a pet fee that was not mentioned on my original invoice and told that I didn't mention bringing a pet, which I did. I checked the box that said traveling with pets. When I searched for the original invoice it had disappeared and a new page was there with changed prices. I have my reciept saying my bill was paid in full. Oh, I will pay the fee but I won't be booking again."

"What a treat and just what we needed. We have highly demanding jobs and needed a place to unplug & get away. This property allowed us to recharge. We planned ahead & took enough food so that we did not have to leave for 5 days & what a treat it was! The location is very remote and private with very little outside noise. It was great just to wake up to bird song and nature. We enjoyed sitting around the campfire with good books & no TV. The cabin itself is furnished with everything you may need. Immaculate & very comfortable. There are several additional touches throughout which show the thought put into making it a comfortable stay. They have thought of everything. The trails are maintained & offer viewing vistas, places to reflect & explore. Sidewinder and Steepside are NO JOKE. My husband hiked the trails 2x daily doing the full loop. He never saw anyone else on the trails but did encounter wildlife. Numerous rabbits, birds, deer & bear were sighted. While doing the trail just as you come down Steepside there is an apple tree. As he was jogging down, he startled a black bear who was up in the tree gorging on apples. The bear fell out of the tree and of course ran down the trail that my husband was continuing down on. Don't know who scared who more but it made for a great memory! Also saw a bear just strolling along across the creek from the cabin.My husband wasn't bothered by bugs but if your mosquito sexy (like me) bring some bug spray. Five stars"
