"Third time staying here. Perfect for visiting the University and the beautiful area. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are all friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, with Menai Strait views"

"I have stayed twice at the Talardy when my dad has been in hospital. The staff are amazing, very caring and quick to help. The first time I stayed in the main building, this time in the annex. Both are very good, and I appreciated the air con as I arrived in a heat wave. The rooms are very clean and roomy. The breakfasts are cooked fresh and very filling. After spending the day with dad I would come back and have an evening meal, again cooked fresh, plenty of choice and excellent service. I felt very welcomed. The only quibble I have is that reception in the annex was hit and miss so I missed a couple of calls. If that gets improved then it will be 10/10 rather than a 9.5."

"Lovely stay here, all of the staff were welcoming, the rooms were nicely decorated, we had a sea view which was very nice. The breakfast was wonderful! Would definitely recommend. "

"Me and my hushad an amazing weekend for our 1st anniversary, food was excellent location was fantastic. Hottub in the forrest was an experience, although the Sauna was a little too small, not much value for money we paid on the twilight package we picked. Next time we would just book the hottub. Peacocks roaming around the grounds feeding out of your hands was something else. I would highly recommend a stay at Ruthin Castle. "
