"We loved our stay here! A lovely little cottage perfectly located in a charming village by Snowdon with great pubs and independent shops. We didn't have a car and using the local buses worked out just fine which is a bonus. Highly recommend!"

"What a lovely, cosy cottage stay with very welcoming hosts. Our dog loved it too. Bit hard to find initially just using the postcode, but once you spot it the other side of the bridge things are simple and straightforward."

"We had a wonderful stay in this quaint little cottage. Even our grumpy teen who doesn’t like anyone or anything thoroughly enjoyed her stay and wants to return. The most beautiful views of Snowdon from the living room window. Homely little fire burning and keeping us all cosy. Just idyllic. My son also found Rosalie’s bird poem book and as a parrot owning family he had a good chuckle reading them. 100% we will be back."

"Super cute property. Alice in wonderland themed. Very unique and cool decor. Property was spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, with Queen of hearts decor. Upstairs there is a private garden, with decking and big table and chairs, and lighting and heater, which was a fantastic surprise. The upstairs garden has great privacy, and feels very safe from the general public. Theres also a downstairs outdoor area, with table and chairs, which was nice, though quite a few spiders outside, so we avoided...

"Where to start. The only positive comment is that the holiday park that the property is situated is lovely, with good facilities. If I was the owner of the park, I wouldn't allow this cottage to be associated with it. Now for the negatives. 1. Firstly the picture shown on the website is nothing like the property looks like and should be removed. Its an old terraced cottage. That needs a lot of TLC to the front and rear of the property. 2. "Lovely warm property, well equipped kitchen, games to play and books to read. Great hosts there to show us around and let the kids feed the chickens, which they loved. Lovely little food parcel to welcome us which the kids loved dipping into. Beautifully clean and comfortable with extra blankets and throws for snuggling. "I am a widower of a certain age and I found Ty Rhiannon an ideal place to stay but it would also be ideal for a couple without mobility issues given the stairs . For me personally I could not fault the accommodation in any shape or form which is homely , tastefully decorated , fully equipped with a spacious and comfortable bedroom I would certainly recommend it and would hope to return next year ."

"I had a great time at Sandy Shell Cottage. The owner is very kind and communicative. The cottage is very central for Conwy but tucked away on a quiet street. Immaculately cleaned cottage. Well heated in winter. Strong shower. Very large comfortable bed. Lovely welcome items too. I would definitely return. "

"Absolutely beautiful. I have never stayed in a static caravan before but this was the best experience for a first timer. The facilities were spot on and the hot tub was an added bonus and throughly enjoyed by the children. The only downside was that the toilet seat was very loose and shifted when sitting on it. It was a minor problem and didn’t really affect our stay. "

Amazing stay in a stunning location.
"This was our first time in Wales and our first self catering holiday. Could not have picked a better place to stay. The cabana we stayed in was perfect for us (2 adults and 2 young kids). The location is ideal as it’s close to Porthmadog to pop to the supermarket, plus not too far from the nearby sites (including Mt Snowdon). The actual site/resort was stunning, great walks around the site including some nice trails in the woods and passing some beautiful waterfalls. Would recommend to anyone, especially those new to self catering. The bar/restaurant were right next to our cabana and we did have the buffet breakfast on our last morning which I could not fault, also having a nice bar as our doorstep was a nice treat. I would stay again if we were to return to this part of Wales. Finally, we didn’t see or need much of the staffs time but we every interaction was friendly and helpful. "
