Great first experience in Harbor House

This unit was masterfully updated and had so many smart, efficient and luxurious design details and furniture selections. From the wrap around bench in the dining area with built in shoe cubbies to the triple bunk bed and super efficient loft with a separate living room, bathroom, bedroom and daybed with an extra trundle bed… I don’t think they could’ve utilized the space any better. The furnishings were new, clean, and beautiful. We loved the ambiance from the beautiful fireplace in the evenings. The balcony had beautiful, sturdy furniture to enjoy. The kitchen is nicely updated and equipped with plenty of nice dishes, silverware and cookware, all very neatly organized as well. We usually stay In Edgewater due to the larger unit sizes but this was such a pleasant experience we didn’t really miss the different square footage especially with the loft.

Harbor 909, Bethany Beach, 21 Jul - 4 Aug 2023

The place was clean and well furnished (except for no sunlight blocking drapes in living room and master bedroom). The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes (except the water filter in refrig needed to be changed and it wouldn’t dispense ice). Extra bedroom and bath set up in the loft was fantastic. Overall, it was well kept and we enjoyed the place very much.

Harbour house

Overall it was a good stay but the elevator was out for a whole two days and being on the 9th floor it was a major inconvenience. Also, the fire alarm went of at 3am the Friday before we left and we were told it happens all the time do to humidity. Those two things seem like they are fixable problems.

Vacasa Problems

Vacasa management has ruined this property for us. We love the layout and location. But, we will no longer deal with Vacasa at this property. It was not cleaned properly (not the first time) and there was moldy food in the refrigerator. There were pubic hairs in the master shower and found some in master bed. It was lovely to see. Also, the water didn’t work when we arrived. Had to get into a late night texting conversation to try and get maintenance to come out. Later figured out that the main water valve was closed. Opened it myself and reported via text that I fixed problem myself. Regardless maintenance showed up the next day. Good thing I figured it out myself. Or we’d have now water! What a joke. When I asked for some type of compensation or a late checkout, they basically refused. I got no closure from them. Any problem I had, I had to deal with myself including scrubbing shower and tracking down clean sheets. But I guess that’s my problem!

909 Harbour - Absolutely Gorgeous

Most beautiful unit I have ever seen at Sea Colony. Very classy recent renovation with open kitchen, loft, loft bedroom with full bath, and den. Great triple bunk in the back bedroom and beautiful stone wall in FR with huge TV and fireplace!
