Oceanfront townhome in Indian Harbor Villas, North Bethany. Great views of ocean, state park, and even Indian River Bay. Easy access to wide beach. Parking for up to 4 cars. Fully equipped kitchen, CAC, cable HDTV, 46 inch Sony flat screen, DVD/VCR, high speed internet access, outside shower, grill. Nicely furnished. Beds include 1 king, 3 queens, and 1 twin (a pull-down Murphy bed -- very comfortable). Washer, dryer, dishwasher. 4 decks. No pets. Not handicapped accessible.

We provide certain basics, such as toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, dishwasher soap, sanitizer, and washing machine soap. We do not provide food items or condiments, other than salt and pepper.

Kitchen is equipped with dishes, cups, wine glasses, regular glassware. Also, basic pots and pans, cutting board, flatware and utensils, coffee pot (Cuisinaire drip), toaster, blender, etc.

Woderful Wedding Weekend

Bill is amazing and made everything easy for us! The place is amazing and ALL were blown away at how the house was just terrific! The only issue was thst the dishwasher did not work.

Great location for direct beach access and quiet townhouse complex. The towels, sheets and toiletries were a nice surprise as well as the extra beach chairs. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Location

Mr. Gearhart is a very attentive host. His place has everything you need and the location is unbeatable. We had a quiet, empty beach to enjoy every day. We would definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful Place and Great Host

Bill was an amazing host and was available for any questions and/or needs during our stay. The home was absolutely perfect for our family. The location was great. Check in was easy and loved the fact that it was a gated community. We felt very safe. Bill provided many amenities that we did not have to supply including toilet paper, paper towels, sheets for three beds , bath towels, hand soap, laundry and kitchen cleaners. The only drawback was the cleanliness. Could use an overall deep cleaning. The beach was very nice and not crowded at all. Great family atmosphere.

Best place to stay!

We were a family of 7 adults! The place was perfect! The house was a beautiful and clean space! The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed! The bathrooms were spotless! Beautiful views from the upper bedroom were as was described in the website! Overall we had a great time at this beautiful home! Mr. Gearheart is such a great person as the owner, answering all the questions we needed! We will definitely be back to this place!

Great place!

This was a lovely experience for our family: superb location, family atmosphere on the beach and spacious townhome. The owner was super-communicative and accommodating. The only recommendation I would make would be to take the cleaning up a notch in some overlooked details: baseboards, vents, kitchen drawers, shower curtains, etc. While The upstairs Baths could use some updates, it is a spacious and comfortable house. We would come back again!

Great place to stay

Quiet beach front and beach experience. Plenty of parking, easy access to beach. Unique view of forested dune buffer area before beach. A/C worked very well. 4 single bed posting was different from actual 3 Queen, 1 single, 1 king beds. You also need a special permit to access beach with a vehicle. Info on that would have been helpful before stay. Bill was very helpful getting us settled. Thank you!!

Great location, property needs some work.

We rented this townhouse for an weekend in the fall. The location is great— right on the beach, well protected by the dunes and situated at the north end of Bethany so the beach is big and not too crowded. Those are the positives. This property is tired. The carpets are worn and the couches are dirty. The walls are in serious need of a fresh coat of paint and there isn’t much lighting so, overall, it’s dark, which probably makes it appear more dingy. It’s unfortunate because the location is great.

Lovely, well-kept Townhouse

This place was even nicer than we expected! It was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The location is amazing and very private (located at the beginning of the State Park). We were there before the official season and it was generally us on the beach in front of the Villas. We did have to maneuver around the people fishing along the shore when walking North along the beach. Hint: Best to walk after 2:30pm when most of them leave. The last time we stayed in the Villas was 30 years ago when our kids were young. This unit is most certainly updated beautifully! Thank you Bill for being a good host 😊

Great location, not so great communication

Nice location on an uncrowded beach. The town house was spacious and clean, although somewhat dated. Two days before my flight from the west coast, the owner told me he would mail me a key. That obviously wouldn’t work, so he left a key under the mat. A second key was left on the counter. My elderly parents had this key and were locked out because it didn’t work. Rather than accepting responsibility for this, the owner told me that he was “careful with keys” and it couldn’t be so. Also, after asking 3 times, we finally got the WiFi password on the 2nd day of a 3 day stay. The ad was clear in saying that linens are not provided. For some reason, after we arrived and had already packed linens, the owner offered to bring over some sheets that we would have to wash because they were new. (We declined.) The property is decent, but the owner is challenging to work with.

Fantastic Girls Trip!

We rented this for a long weekend trip. There were 5 of us and more than enough room. The unit is updated and has a beautiful kitchen, plenty of seating, numerous balconies and is right beside the beach access. The owner provides sheets for one queen and one king bed, 5 bath towels and bath mats. There was also a hair dryer, hand soap at all sinks, dish soap, and laundry supplies. The unit was easy to access and the owner was great with communication. We would highly recommend.

Memorial Day Week was a Success

Enjoyed a quiet week staying at this house in a convenient location. Perfect location for easy trips to Rehoboth, Bethany Boardwalk and Ocean City. Accommodations were acceptable but you can see the age of the house with limited natural light and distance to the beach (but the walk to the beach was easy over the dunes on a newer boardwalk ). Would recommend replacing the carpeted steps from the entryway and fresh paint in the kitchen. Bill was quick with responses and super helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and came home relaxed and refreshed!

Great beachfront stay away from the crowds

We had a great time at Bill’s place and it was perfect for 4 adults and 3 young children. The boardwalk to the beach is just out the back door and we thoroughly enjoyed the beach-facing porches. The kitchen appliances (fridge, toaster, etc.) were particularly nice for a rental. We also enjoyed the short walk to Matt’s. Not a critique, but some babyproofing items are needed for sharp furniture corners and steep stairs for families with young children. We hope to rent again!

A Villa with a View and Beach

If you are looking for relaxing and beautiful views of natural dunes and associated wildlife, only a short walk on a pathway to a beautiful beach on the Atlantic, then this is the place for you. Summer or winter.
