"Nancy, the owner, provided top-shelf hospitality both through her facility and personally through her customer service! As a hostel, she really goes above and beyond, and Friendly Auberge would be a bargain at twice the price! Don't even get me started about how much I loved her fixed-price pilgrim menu in the restaurant! For me personally, her being an ex-pat American was hugely valuable as I cannot speak French."

"David and Nadine are wonderful hosts! We loved how personable they were and they didn’t use the pool or boost us very often, so it felt private. It’s the best villa holiday we’ve had in many years, as always with pros and cons: Pros - Near good bakeries - lovely view over the hills - Pool close to house and private - Secure property and felt safe - David is amazing at caring for the guests, they even bought us wine, saucisson and breakfast!
