"The owners of L'Ajasserie in Orcival are just wonderful! Claude and Rosi made our stay so pleasant and serve a wonderful dinner, Rosi's cuisine. Orcival is a lovely small town with an amazing Romanesque church, the prettiest wee saw. If you want an authentic Auvergne experience, not a cookie-cutter hotel experience, I would highly recommend L'Ajasserie d'Orcival. The room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. Would love to return!"

"This is a charming and quiet place to stay in a great Clermont-Ferrand location. Fantastic breakfast and hospitality (our host was very helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and had whatever we needed). Great to have a place to park off the street too. "Beautiful location - the last building in the village. Surrounded by fields with great views from the rooms and the numerous seating areas in the garden. Breakfast was simple and eaten on a terrace overlooking fields. Perfect peace and quiet!"

"It was horrible rainy, misty and cold. The room was cold and even through the owner brought us an extra heater & a lovely cup of tea, it never got above 17 degrees. Small room with basic facilities. Narrow stairs & struggle to get bags up to room. Restaurant nice but steak I had was tough."

"Le Petit Volcan is at the top of hillside village of Montpeyroux. Access is along narrow steep one way streets, the last of which has a sign restricting access, but we just followed the GPS right to the entrance gate. The owner greeted us and showed us the parking (unloaded the suitcases right by the door to our room) and after showing us our room (accommodation was perfect) showed us how to get to the two nearby restaurants. Zen was good! Great breakfast and again welcoming hosts."

"On a passé 3 jours extra dans cet appartement bien aménagé. Salon un peu petit mais à 6 pas de souci. La vue est très agréable, restos et petits magasins à proximité. Bien placé pour faire de la randonnée Puy de Sancy ou Mont Dore."
