"This beautiful family Villa was perfect for our week long gathering of three generations and close friends. We felt right at home immediately. There was space for everyone, both indoors and outside. We loved being on the picturesque terrace and loggia, the lawns, in the beautiful large pool, and in every room in the house. There is so much history here. We loved the family photos, the art, the furnishings, the Murano chandeliers, the toys under the grand piano, the beautiful kitchen. The Villa is filled with love and care. It felt so warm and comfortable to us, including the children. One evening, we brought in a chef to prepare a beautiful meal for us. We loved our stay and wish we could come back every year. "

"The hotel seems to have been refurbished recently. It was very clean. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. We stayed at the hotel due to a wedding that we were attending the next morning and we needed our wedding outfits to be ironed. At the cost of €15, it was taken care of professionally. We were able to collect our garments from the reception the next morning at 9am. "

"The uniqueness of this property lies in the fact that it's one of the very few in the area. Otherwise it's a small private run b&b for an affordable price. The room was clean and served its purpose. I appreciate the idea of serving breakfast in the rooms, it's cute, but it's terribly unpractical if the room is small and doesn't really offer a table where two people can comfortably sit and share a croissant. The other downside of this place is the general lack of a place to sit down. Unless you are willing to drive there is little to do in the immediate vicinity, unfortunately the b&b doesn't offer a garden/lobby/common space where one could sit down with a beer/snack etc. "

"My friends and I (3 couples) stayed in this beautiful apartment in August and we will definitely be back! It's an easy drive from Milan airport, and sits in a gated estate in the hills above Barzano, a sleepy nearby town. The apartment has clearly been refurbished recently and it's clean, well-equipped and very spacious, but still has the charm of a grand old Italian villa. The rooms all had AC, Wi-Fi and super comfortable beds. The weather was amazing so we spent our time swimming in the lovely pool, walking in the gardens and exploring the area. It's a very quiet and private place, and we loved cooking and eating on the terrace - the property is high up in the hills and the views are astonishing. Gretchen was incredibly helpful, and provided us with some great recommendations for restaurants and walks in the nearby forest. Overall a very relaxing and refreshing stay.
