"Booked this place as a backup, just in case I couldn't make it to the ferry in time. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help bridge the language barrier. (I don't know much French, they didn't know much English). Once everything was understood, my friend and I took the keys are were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms. Coffee making facilities, air conditioning and a king size bed. There are a number of eateries and even a cinema just around the corner from the hotel and it's only a couple of minutes walk from the train station. (Though the paddel club across the road serves pizza until 19:00) OK for the price compared to hotels nearby. Not the cleanest, not the worst. Won't stay again unless absolutely necessary."

"It’s a good base for Caen if you don’t have a car. Close to the train station, close to city center (walking distance or taking the tram). Shower is amazing water pressure, kitchen is super clean and has a small fridge, microwave and stove (didn’t use). Nice sealed window so it’s quiet inside the room. The AC could use some work perhaps - it’s not super cold, maybe just a maintenance issue. "

"This was a great cheap place to stay. The beds were comfortable, pillows were good. And the place was clean. Only dislike was the amount of people smoking in the halls and too.s and right outside our window! As non smokers this is really unpleasant. But in Europe it seems smoking is pretty common still."
