Southwest Harbor is my favorite place to stay on the island. It is much less touristy than Bar Harbor but still has some good dining options as well as a nice coffee shop. We had a great stay."

"We had a great stay over MDW in this comfortable and private cabin. The deck is awesome, and everything has been upgraded make this a charming, but modern and comfortable cabin. The bed and mattress are great, and we slept well after our hikes and adventures. Highly recommended.Great place to put up your feet after a hike!"

"This cabin is really just part of a group of cabins near Bar Harbor. The difference between this and the ones you can book on like Expedia is that this has a hot tub. It's very cozy, and the inside of the cottage is super cute. However, two things stuck out that really soured the experience for us.
