A great kind of hotel

Super friendly staff. They gave me a dry back for a river float which was marvelous. 5 minute walk to the bus & tram. Super convenient to the convention hall. Little kitchenette worked perfectly and COOP grocery store for breakfast goods 5 minutes away.

Fantastic hotel. Some of the nicest staff ever! Great location with beautiful room. We had the family room that sleeps four. Two adults and two adult sized teenagers fit very comfortably. Huge bathroom and even a mini kitchen. Beautiful library on the floor with extra space to spend time in. Coffee, tea, water and even milk for coffee included with stay. We loved it here.

A great alternative in Bern

Very comfortable and welcoming place to stay, close to the city with excellent local cafes. The hotel has a lot of additional facilities - kitchenette in the room, nice coffee and tea in the library, laundry facilities. Best of all are the cheerful, helpful and efficient team on the front desk.

Amenities are clean and new. Room is spacious. There is a library next to our room, with snack and drinks to purchase. Walk 5 min to no. 9 tram station, which takes 5 min to old town and train station. The only inconvenience is they sent a code to my email the day before which I forgot to check. When we arrived on Sunday afternoon, there’s no one at front desk, which makes us panicking. Finally another customer inside the building helped us.

We stayed one night at this hotel and really enjoyed it. From the check in process, to check out, everything was flawless. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. It felt like we were taken care of. The room itself is very clean and cozy. Everything you need is there. The hotel also offers laundry services, which was very helpful for our travel. Definitely recommend and would come back here again.

Excellent Place

Fantastic place to stay. Appears to have been refurbished recently as everything was new. Very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking garage underneath was very useful. Slightly out of the centre but we had bikes so ideal for us.

I was worried about the lack of AC and the teeny tiny room. YES the room was small, but it was well-appointed and housed a little "hidden" kitchen under the counter. It also had a decent-sized fridge. The room was clean and had storage and cubbies to help fit everything. Yes, you had to sleep with the window open, but the neighborhood was quiet. Compared to my next hotel, which boasted AC (barely worked) and a larger room, this place was a gem. The next property had no fridge, no decent storage, horrible lighting, and no comfortable seating. Give the Alpenblick a try, you wont be disappointed! Another cool thing-they have their own bees!
