"A below average apartment, lacking in a lot of simple facilities one would expect. The noise from the trains is incredible both day and night. Too hot to close the windows and too noisy to keep them open. The place had potential but missed out on so many small items."

"Manu, our host could not have been more accommodating and gracious. He greeted us (early arrival) with all kinds of information and recommendations to make the most of our short stay. He even provided a transportation card that made our adventure simple as we immersed ourselves into the local community. The apartment was clean, well stocked with every amenity and extremely comfortable. We highly recommend this property and would look forward to our return. "

"We spent a lovely four nights here. The condo was on an upper floor, with plenty of parking at the side of the building. We used supermarkets in Durango (5-10 min drive away) for groceries. It was easy to drive into Durango and take the train to Bilbao for the day too. The kitchen had the basic things you might need (small oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, washer, dishwasher, but no kettle?) and the shower was pleasingly powerful. The air con was very welcome in the sticky July...

"The home is lovely, it’s well appointed and so clean! The owner, Jon, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. There was even a spread of fruits, muffins, teas and milk! He and his son helped us with our luggage. We’d been traveling in Spain for a month and were looking for a spot near the Bilbao airport for our early flight-really wish we’d have been able to spend more than one night there! We will be back to explore this beautiful part of the country and stay in this apartment again!"

"A comfortable and quiet apartment with a great kitchen, sitting and dining room and patio for at-home relaxing with the family. Just a five minute walk from the amazing Mundaka beach, and village. Good train, bus and road links to the surrounding region. Having the underground parking space was extremely useful."
