"Lovely stay, staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel clean throughout, bed very comfortable and shower worked really well. Only downside the 2 side blinds didn’t work and curtains not thick enough on their own. Maybe hot drink making facilities and the hairdryer awkward to use because you have to keep holding the on button down. In a very good location for sightseeing and access to public transport. Would definitely recommend it."

"Very disappointing customer service experience. I asked for a breakfast sandwich in advance, but it was not available. I then suggested three different alternatives myself, and each one was refused. After that, I was simply told that they would not be helping me further. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the breakfast place opens at 6:30 a.m., and I offered to come downstairs and pick up the breakfast myself. I was specifically trying to save the staff time, since they would not need to deliver anything to my room. We were talking about a simple breakfast box that takes only a couple of minutes to prepare. The response I received from the reception agent was, “Do you know how much they have to do? They cannot spend time on you.” I found that remark incredibly rude and dismissive. Hospitality is about helping guests, and I was making every effort to find a solution that would minimize any inconvenience for the staff. When I expressed my frustration, I later overheard a reception agent complaining about me to a colleague. A few minutes later, that colleague called my room to lecture me. I have never experienced a hotel handling a customer concern this way. I have stayed in five-star hotels in Switzerland and in small family-run Airbnbs in southern Italy, and regardless of the level of luxury, I have never encountered service this poor. The entire interaction felt dismissive, hostile, and unprofessional. I will not be returning ever."

"We were so disappointed with our stay here. Both mornings we stayed our electricity short circuited, leaving us in darkness and no power, making it impossible to work and get ready for the day. The first morning it happened the man on reception showed no kindness or empathy and told us we had to wait until later for someone to arrive to fix it. In the meantime, the solution he gave us was a token for the coffee machine. Once it was fixed, we moved on with our day and put it behind us. The following morning, the exact same thing happened. The same man on reception was working and his attitude was the same. This time he suggested we use the common area to plug in hair straighteners/chargers etc and get ready with the light there. No suggestions made to move rooms, no remedy for inconvenience was offered. No genuine apology. Instead we were made to feel like the inconvenience and treated as if we were the problem. Later in the day, we spoke with other staff on reception and asked for a late check out. We were told the cost of it. We had to ask to have it made complimentary. Nothing was actually offered to us to remedy the situation. Once was inconvenient, twice was incompetent. But the core issue for us was that no effort was made to show service and hospitality. It is not unreasonable to expect that a hotel of this standard comes with electricity. And when that fails, the level of service should rise to remedy the situation. 0/10"

"I've stayed here many times for short and long stays. Will definitely stay here again. However, one downside is the cleaning staff will knock and ring the bell to clean the room several hours before checkout. They will be very assertive and wont provide ample time to even respond to th"

"The air conditioner didn't work, so the receptionist immediately offered compensation. When we noticed it was too hot, she moved us to a much better, cooler room after one day, while still compensating us. We truly appreciate that. Additionally, the hotel is well-designed and well-located."
