We enjoyed our stay at The Niu Hide, in Berlin. Very nice hotel, modern, comfortable and the employees are reallly kind and helpful. The breakfast is really good, also.

Good hotel, right above a shopping centre and close to the U and S Bahn. Easy to get to the centre of town and airport. Only thing is that the entrance can be a little confusing as its right by the entrance of the shopping centre.

Great hotel that I've stayed at twice now. When I came for my second stay I opted for the more basic room as I was travelling solo - would not recommend downsizing. The room felt exceptionally small, even for a single traveller. That being said, our previous room was great. Good breakfast, friendly staff, and a nice bar. Always like the convenience of the location.

The room was clean and the staff very friendly. A good place to stay and sleep but nothing more. With a kids bed in the room, there was hardly space to move around. The breakfast was ok. What makes the hotel very attractive is its location as there are plenty of options for public transport.

The location of the hotel is excellent, U and S stations are right next to it. The room was small, but really clean and wonderfully cool in hot Berlin. The bed was comfortable and the towels thick and fresh. Breakfast was ok. I would definitely stay again.

Music to my ears

Always love staying here when we visit Berlin from Liverpool. We come for concerts at The Mercedes Arena. It’s really handy for connections all around the city and the airport.

Niu Hide Frankfurter Allee

Good hotel, interesting decor, brilliant staff, average breakfast that is overpriced for what is available. Finding the entrance is a real challenge for 1st time visitors as the hotel is above one part of the Ring Center (a handy shopping centre), but very poorly signposted.

The room was very nice, the front desk was kind and helpful. I liked the fact it was staffed 24-7. The parking was horrendous, not the hotel's fault, and the area did not feel safe, especially tucked away so far in the back of a little shopping plaza. But the hotel itself was very pleasant.

I was missing a mini fridge and (free) water bottles. Because the hotel had shut down the other way I had to walk the long corridor from room 1-95. It was a looong way and not very pleasant.

Clean but small rooms. Decent for the price. Shops and restaurants around but not the nicest neighbourhood. Near metro, east to get around. Bed was comfortable. Shower pressure good. Housekeeping never came the entire 3 nights I was there.

They just got bought out by IGH group, so maybe things will improve… but the floors in my room were peeling off around the bathroom, they don’t leave enough towels, there is no desk, the rooms are tiny, the pillow and duvet is covered in a disposable cover (?!?) and the area has a homeless camp next to it under the bridge. I left early and went to another hotel. They wouldn’t refund my unused days, saying it’s an Expedia policy.

We changed rooms 1 time, the air conditioning in the room was very noisy, the manager was rude and didn't want to help, he said we could just find another hotel. There were no available rooms in the hotel, so we waited 2 days to change room. It is a general problem in all rooms with noise from the air conditioning, the rooms are very small. The hotel rooms are containers that have been converted into rooms.
