The front desk staff are really helpful but I think this hotel has a serious problem with management. First there is clearly only one to two people working for room service which is ridiculous- spend some money and hire adequate staff. I called down for room service for thirty minutes straight this morning before I got an answer. Then last night we couldn’t figure out how to turn our lights off and keep the power on to charge our phone and the woman who came up to help us also had no idea and was just as confused as us. What sent me over the edge was I went to Root the restaurant and I was talking to the restaurant staff and I asked for a menu. I turned to the restaurant staff and said “Can I make a res-“ and a man walks in cuts me off mid-sentence they all started to attending to him. It was so rude, the whole staff left to help him and I just stood there. I tried to get their attention by walking over there and they ignored me. I’m not saying it’s because I am a young woman and that was a man but that is what I’m saying. This hotel and restaurant needs better service and training resources. It looks cool, but that’s about it.
