Quaint and cozy, lovely staying in Berlin's "Little Venice"
We enjoyed our 3 night stay in this charming little garden house. Being on the water was lovely, while we enjoyed dinner on the outside patio and watched swans float by. We were given privacy by nearby neighbors as we came and went and after spending busy days in Berlin it was so nice to get a bit outside of the city and unwind at this super cozy gem.

This place was gorgeous. It was just far enough out of Berlin to make it quiet and peaceful and just close enough to make it convenient. The owners were perfect. They were attentive to our needs and issues. Cheers.

darling cottage in an unbelievable setting
loved our stay outside of Berlin in this little "venice" style neighborhood. we loved taking the kayaks out on the canals and lazily paddling through the houses. the house is very clean and close to the zoo and Berlin city center. our host was very accommodating and cant wait to host them when they make it to the states.

Außen hui - Innen pfui!
Wir waren eine Woche in der kleinen Ferienhütte, die zunächst einen netten und gemütlichen Eindruck machte. Der Vermieter ist freundlich und sein Garten darf mitbenutzt werden. Es gibt eine Sitzecke und die Möglichkeit Kajaks und ein Motorboot zu nutzen. Die Anbindung an die Öffis ist gut, alle 20 Minuten fährt ein Bus zur S3. Bis hierhin ist alles top. Was dagegen eine echte Katastrophe ist, ist die Sauberkeit! Überall Staubmuffen, alle Oberflächen sind irgendwie klebrig, die Teppiche haben allerlei Spuren und im Bad, vor allem aber im Duschablauf ist alles voller Haare. Pfuiteufel! Das ist einfach nur ekelig und für über 170 Euro die Nacht nicht dem Preis angemessen. Das Bad ist eng und unvorteilhaft, man war jedes Mal froh, "sein Geschäft" oder seine tägliche Hygiene erledigt zu haben. Ganz zu schweigen von dem stinkenden Brunnenwasser. Es riecht nach Schwefel und Metall und ist sehr unappetitlich. Der Vermieter meinte zwar, man solle es immer erst 5 Sekunden laufen lassen, hat aber nicht viel geholfen. Die Küche war sehr beengt und es fehlte an grundlegender Ausstattung. Keine Topflappen, kein Pfannenwender, kein Kartoffelschäler, kein Geschirrtuch, kein gar nichts. Hier könnte der Vermieter mit 100€ den Komfort ganz einfach verbessern. Auch ein paar mehr Haken und Ablagen wären hilfereich. Abends wird es schnell kühl und klamm, eine Heizung gibt es nicht, der Ofen ist ohne Holz. Wir haben den Backofen benutzt. Die Hütte hat Potential, aber leider nicht so! Schade!

Nous avons passez un très bon moment dans ce logement. Oui l'eau sent pas bon mais est utilisable et pour boire il suffit d'aller acheter des bouteilles au Netto à coté, le ménage est correct et le chalet conforme aux photo avec quelques années de plus.Le jardin est magnifique et le quartier aussi. Parfaitement situé pour profiter de la la nature et à 45 minutes en voiture du centre de Berlin. Merci Torsten nous avons été ravis de notre séjour.

Sehr enttäuscht vom Gartenhaus
Ein Empfang vom Gastgeber fand nicht statt, da dieser im Urlaub war. Wir mussten ihm selbst hinterher telefonieren wo wir wohnen werden und wo die Schlüssel sind. Dabei erfuhren wir schon im Voraus ,dass es gewisse Mängel im Haus geben wird,(unter anderem bauliche Mängel und die Nutzung von Brunnenwasser) ,was wirklich ein Problem darstellte ,ekelhafter Geruch und nicht nutzbar für uns. Mussten selbst Wasser besorgen im nahegelegenen Edeka.Aus unserer Sicht stimmt hier das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht, auch wenn die Lage des Objekts absolut traumhaft war. Darauf sollte man sich aber nicht ausruhen. Die Sauberkeit war auch nicht in Ordnung, dafür ist der Vermieter oder sindAngstellte zuständig, und er kann nicht davon ausgehen wie die vorherigen Mieter geputzt und das Objekt verlassen haben. Wir fühlten uns nicht willkommen,was im Urlaub sein sollte und reisten deshalb nach drei Tagen ab,obwohl 7 Tage gebucht waren. Ein beworbenes Motorboot war aus Umbaugründen auch nicht nutzbar. All diese aufgeführten Dinge hätte man auch nicht klären können vor Ort oder telefonisch, weil diese kurzfristig nicht gelöst hätten werden können.Eine Nachfrage hätten wir uns gewünscht,weil er wohl aus dem Urlaub zurückkommen wollte am Donnerstag( wir reisten Donnerstag anstatt Montag ab) und wir nur dem Hausmeister Bescheid gegeben haben das wir vorzeitig abreisen ohne Angabe von Gründen . Aber das zeigt sein Gastgeberverhalten zu uns.

Mehr als enttäuschend!!!!!
Die Lage ist toll!Mit der S-Bahn fährt man 45min bis ins Berliner Zentrum.Das ist leider auch schon alles was man zu dieser Unterkunft positives sagen kann.Wir sind schon 1 Tag eher abgereist!!!Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung läßt mehr als zu wünschen übrig.Socken vom Vormieter noch unter dem Bett,vom Schmutz und Dreck ganz zu schweigen.Überall Spinnenweben und Schmutz!!Das Badezimmer ist eine Zumutung...das Wasser stinkt.Man kann sich damit auf gar keinen Fall die Zähne putzen,oder trinken.Der Duschkopf ist verdreckt,so wie auch der Duschvorhang.Alles riecht muffig!! Schade,dass wir hier keine Bilder hochladen können,dann würde man sehen was ich meine.Leider eine Zumutung mit kleinen Kindern:-( Keine Heizung vorhanden,jedoch ein Kamin ohne Holz vorhanden.Den ersten Abend haben wir gefroren. Einfach schade.Hoffentlich nimmt der Vermieter diese Bewertung Ernst und ändert diesen Zustand für alle folgenden Urlauber ab!!!
