Older in style but I really liked it, was very clean and well maintained. Great for visiting the zoo opposite and good access to public transport that takes you to the centre of Berlin.

Very Nice stay. Great staff, great room really clean. The breakfast also Nice. Locationwise it is a hotel near a Subway station which means perfect. Near The hotel there is a shopping arena but thats it. Prices were reasonable.

Nice hotel and value for money

Nice location near Tierpark station and near supermarkets and restaurants in a quiet neighbourhood. Airy room and bathroom with a bathtub. Recommended!

4 night stay in Berlin

Value hotel close access to public transportation especially Tierpark station U5 line perfect and takes you into centre of Berlin Spacious room -but offered limited “extras” like no kettle tea/coffee making in room however Would stay there again . Recommend if staying this side of Berlin going to visit Gärten der Welt fantastic

Good hotel spacious rooms. Little bit outdated. Main road is noisy if you have windows open. underground train station right on door step so easy access to Berlin city centre. Next to supermarket and little shops.

Very good breakfast

There is 2 rather expensive italian restaurants near by. And 3 low cost kabab or Chinese places to eat. 2 good groceries with everything. The tube line goes to Alexander platz and hbf. The tierpark is so big that you need a hole day to explore. Good size room with a lot of storage place.

Good for the price

Charging 6 euros per night for car parking not good, should be free. A kettle in the room to make tea or coffee would be a plus. No other major problems.

If you’re staying in the Karlshorst area this is an excellent choice. A short walk from Tierpark U-Bahn and directly next to a tram stop it’s a clean, cheerful modern hotel with friendly staff and a lovely breakfast room. I dropped one star where I would only have deducted a half, because having requested a toilet roll at reception it never turned up. Despite breakfast not being included in my deal via Expedia, reception insisted it was despite my denials. Fine on the first morning but I was questioned on the second and required to pay. This wasn’t a problem as I had been prepared to pay anyway but reception need to double check this on arrival as it’s hard not to feel uncomfortable when staff are looming over your table! My room had no air conditioning which may be a deal breaker for some, especially as Berlin can get hot, but there were large openable windows so it wasn’t hard to cool the room and we have to save the planet after all!
